Amaltas Institute of Nursing Sciences Dewas run under the auspices of Amaltas Educational Welfare Society started in September 2016, the Institute is situated at open green area of Dewas just 10 K.M. from the of city, having large green campus.

After receiving permission from the Government of Madhya Pradesh, Indian Nursing Council New Delhi & Madhya Pradesh Nurses Registration Council Bhopal, BSc Nursing program was started in 2016 with 60 seats & GNM with 40 seats, and upgraded with Masters program in 20017 with 24 seats( OBG-5, Medical Surgical-10, Paediatric-9) & Proposed For Post Basic Bsc Nursing.

We have well ventilated spacious classrooms equipped with. L.C.D, O.H.P and other A.V. Aids with seating capacity for 100 students. We have well equipped Advance Lab, Nursing Foundation Lab, Nutrition Lab, Maternal and Child Health Lab, Community Health Lab, Preclinical Lab, Computer lab, Library and an Auditorium having seating capacity of 500 students.

The best part of our Nursing Sciences is that we have a 300 bedded Medical college hospital functioning where the MBBS program is also being conducted that helps our students to clear their doubt from expert senior medical College and Nursing College while working in various departments of the hospital during their clinical experience. For the around development of our students they get enough opportunity to involve in a wide range of activities like playing sports, involvement in trips & in sort of charity work.

The aims of nursing programme being run the institutions are:-

To prepare skilled nurses to assume responsibility, make independent decision, accept challenges and apply knowledge and skills in practice to become a competent nurse in providing promotive preventive curative and rehabilitative services to the people across their life span in wide variety of health care setting in hospitals and community area.

To prepare graduate nurses to assume the role of nurse educator clinical instructor nurse supervisor manager research leader advocate counselor etc, in clinical and public health settings.

  • Demonstrate advance competence in practice of nursing by providing nursing care base on steps of nursing process in collaboration with the individuals and groups.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills in making decisions in all situations in order to provide quality care.
  • Provide promotive, preventive, curative and restorative health services based on national health policies and programs.
  • Demonstrate understanding of health practices, culture and beliefs, behaviour and other factors, which affect health of individuals and community.
  • Practice code of ethics and professional conduct and acceptable standards within the legal boundaries.
